Wagner Meters pinless BI 2200 moisture meter is non-destructive and easy to use for the building or home inspector. The BI2200 allows the user to measure a wide range of building materials to identify moisture-related problem areas in a home or building.

Lightweight and easy to operate, the BI 2200 gives a relative only moisture content reading by establishing a dry baseline reading first on any building material.  Once the dry baseline reading is established, the meter can pinpoint any problem conditions that exist in the building in the areas where the moisture content relative reading exceeds the initial dry baseline reading.

The BI 2200 is versatile and programmable for many building materials and designed with a protective Teflon pad to protect the sensor from any damage when used on rough surfaces.  The BI 2200 does not damage the material surface when taking readings and measure to a ¾” depth penetration.  It also has a unique Hold feature where the meter display will hold the reading once the meter is removed allowing you to get into tight places and still be able to document the relative moisture content readings during your inspection.
