Extech Instruments’ MO290 pinless moisture meter offers 8 different measurements: humidity, air temperature, pinless moisture content for wood and other building materials, pin-type measurements with remote probe (not included), dew point, vapor pressure, relative humidity and grans per pound (GPP). It also includes a built-in non-contact infrared thermometer.

The MO290 offers selectable ranges for multiple wood types and measurement ranges.

The large dual display shows moisture content as a percentage to 0.1%, plus simultaneously displays air temperature, IR temperature or humidity. The MO290 can be programmed for high/low moisture and for humidity alarms. Some data capabilities and automatic condensation point calculation are also included.
