The P-2000 from Delmhorst is designed to test moisture content in paper, corrugated stock and other fibrous materials. A pin meter, the integrated probes can be used for materials up to 1” thick and an external connector is available to make use of a variety of product-specific external probes. Readings are given on a digital display with 0.1% increments and the P-2000 also has a 1-100 arbitrary scale for comparative moisture readings on a variety of materials.

The P-2000 also has a data storage function – it can store up to 100 readings and display the average reading or the highest stored reading. An alarm can also be set to audibly alert the user when a selected moisture content reading has been reached.
