The J-2000 from Delmhorst corrects for 48 individual wood species and temperature in both Fahrenheit and Celsius. A pin meter, the integrated pins measure to a depth of 5/16” and deeper readings can be taken with external electrodes through the built-in connector. It also has data storage capabilities, storing up to 100 readings and providing either the average or high readings of the stored data.

The digital display shows readings to 0.1% increments and measures moisture content between 6% -40%.
