Delmhorst’s MoistureCheck is a dual-function moisture meter that can operate in pin mode or scan (pinless) mode, and offers optional infrared linking capabilities.

In pin mode, the MoistureCheck corrects for 69 species of wood and for temperature. It specifies a wood scale of 5% - 60%, a drywall scale of 0.1% - 6% and a numerical reference scale of 0 – 100 for all other non-wood building materials. Integrated pins measure to a depth of 5/16” and an external electrode connector can be used for deeper readings in a variety of materials.

In scan (pinless) mode, the MoistureCheck uses a 0 – 300 reference scale for comparative readings of all materials. Scan mode provides a non-damaging initial assessment before further testing for documentable results.

The MoistureCheck can store up to 1400 readings with on-screen recall, job groupings and time/date stamp. Note: these readings may not be acceptable for all ASTM or documentation requirements.
